I prefer the one with brown lettering on the left and Thames Valley down the right hand side.
I like the configuration of the one with the brown lettering, but would prefer the lettering in the stronger blue.... Sorry to want the best of all worlds...
I'm just thinking about the viability of reproducing this on paper: for example, at one of the CMT Parish Magazine Editors' Training Days, where handouts on a whole host of subjects, from editorial guidelines, to marketing ideas, to taking away a sample front cover of a "new look" parish mag are part of the deal. As a result, I'm going for the blue as easier to make out.
Now there you go ... I wasn't even thinking beyond blog application!!!
